ATTENDING THE 2012 KIMM PRODUCTION SALE, MAY 5
AT THE TIPPIE BEEF CENTER, KCC CAMPUS, CEDAR RAPIDS, IA

DETAILS:
ELIGIBILITY
Age divisions: Seniors 14-18 years of age, Juniors 9-13 years of age

MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE
One and one-half hours before the sale commences (5pm), approximately twenty-five questions will be administered to those competing for the FREE SALE CREDIT. Participants must be present at this time, no adults present.

SUBJECT MATTER
Knowledge of overall sheep production, the Suffolk breed and the Kimm program. A different set of questions will be addressed for each age division.

CREDIT PRIZES AWARDED TO THE TOP SIX WINNERS: ( Based on 15 or more youth)
$750 to the winning Senior, $500 to the runner-up and $250 to third place.
$750 to the winning Junior, $500 to the runner-up and $250 to third place.
                 10-14 Youth Competing - $500, $250 & $125
                 9 or less Youth Competing - $250, $125 & $75

STIPULATIONS
Credit must be used by the winners (non-transferable) at the 2011 Kimm Production Sale, with no carry over to the following year. Juniors are not eligible to receive the same award more then once, contact Bob if you have questions on this rule.
 

ALSO EARN SALE CREDIT WITH SUCCESS AT SHOWS

The animals need to be purchased from Bob's sale, shown either as a lamb or yearling. FOLLOW-UP must be made by sending either a colored print or a digital photo via the email, suitable for use on Bob's web site (Jr. Page). Sale credit for this program can be carried over if youth remains active in 4-H, FFA OR UJSSA. (PLEASE SET FEET PROPERLY)

$500 - Overall Champion at the National Junior Suffolk Show
$250 - Overall Res. Champ at the National Junior Suffolk Show
$100 - Have a class winner at the National Jr. Suffolk Show
$250 - Breed Champion at your State Fair and
$100 for Res Breed Champ at State Fair
$100 - Breed Champion at your County Fair and
$50 for Res Breed Champ at County Fair
