“FLASH” - $1,500 sale credit will be
awarded to
FOUR juniors attending the 2008 Kimm Production Sale
DETAILS:
ELIGIBILITY –
Seniors will be 14-18 yrs of age
Juniors will be 9-13 yrs of age
MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE –
One and one-half hours before the sale
commences (5 pm) ten questions will be administered to those
competing
for the FREE CREDIT. The opportunity to answer the questions
will only
be at this time, administered as a group with no adult coaching.
SUBJECT MATTER – Testing
the contestants knowledge of sheep production,
the Suffolk breed and the Kimm flock. A different set of
questions will be
addressed for each age group.
CREDIT PRIZE TO TOP WINNERS:
$500 to the winning Senior and $250 to the runner-up.
$500 to the winning Junior and $250 to the runner-up.
Credit must be used by the junior member (non-transferable) at
the 2008
KIMM PRODUCTION SALE, with no carry overs to the following year.

ELIGIBILITY: Any 4-H, FFA, or UJSSA member
REQUIREMENTS: A Kimm prefix sheep purchased in Kimm Production
Sale
FOLLOW-UP: Email or send a colored photo suitable for use on the
web site
AWARD: Credit for use in the following years production sale,
can carry over if youth remains active in 4-H, FFA or UJSSA.
$500 - Champion at the United Junior Suffolk Show
$250 - Reserve Champion at the United Jr. Suffolk Show
$100 - Have a class winner at the United Jr. Suffolk Show
$250 - Champion at a State Fair 4-H or FFA Show
$100 - Reserve Champion at a State Fair Show
$100 - Champion at your County Fair
$50 - Reserve Champion at your County Fair
